Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of concrete construction projects. This dynamic role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate teams, manage schedules, ensure quality standards, and maintain safety protocols on busy construction sites. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in concrete operations, construction management software, and project scheduling to deliver projects efficiently, safely, and within scope. Duties Lead and supervise concrete crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality execution of projects Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines Oversee daily site operations, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, finishing, and curing processes Monitor adherence to safety standards such as OSHA regulations and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate interpretation of project requirements Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure compliance with design specifications Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation for concrete materials and equipment Requirements Proven experience in construction site supervision with a focus on concrete projects Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or equivalent tools Expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and construction estimating Familiarity with contracts management and construction law principles Hands-on experience with pipeline projects or heavy civil infrastructure is preferred OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is required Supervising experience in large-scale construction environments with excellent management skills Ability to read schematics, interpret technical drawings, and use measurement tools like ohmmeters effectively Excellent communication skills to coordinate teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders Join our team as a Concrete Superintendent to lead innovative projects that shape communities!
