$25-$32.5
Position Summary:
The Quality Control Technician II Lab position is responsible for daily testing of our concrete mix designs and monitoring material properties to ensure adherence to specifications. This position involves data entry and limited analysis of test results. Ability to work various hours and assist with field testing as needed. Additional responsibilities include lab housekeeping, and other duties as required by the QC Manager. Job requirements include but are not limited to:
  • Follow safety rules, regulations, and procedures as required by company policies
  • Team player who demonstrate a positive work ethic and is willing to help and train others
  • Good communication skills, detail-oriented, reliable
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical, which will include a background check Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 2 years' experience in the concrete industry
  • ACI Field Grade I, ACI Agg I, ACI Strength, ACI Lab II (preferred) Knowledge and Skills
  • Must be able to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percentages
  • Ability to establish effective and diverse working relationships with other employees
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, develop and select action plans, and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions and work independently with little or no supervision
  • Must have the ability to plan, organize, and prepare accurate records and be a self-starter with little or no supervision

Capable of working outside in all weather conditions and in elevated areas. Ability to walk, climb, grasp, stand, and balance. Ability to lift objects of various dimensions and weights.
