Concrete Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and concrete and be familiar with various concrete processes. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial construction, renovation, and restoration. The Concrete Laborer will assist in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. •We are currently ONLY hiring for candidates who possess a background in concrete work. Those without concrete experience need not apply•Duties Assist in the setup and preparation of concrete forms and structures. Operate concrete mixers and other power tools safely and effectively. Perform rebar installation to reinforce concrete structures. Carry out concrete finishing tasks to ensure smooth surfaces. Utilize hand tools for various construction tasks, including caulking and plastering. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting and moving materials. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents on the construction site. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to construction processes. Experience in construction estimating for project planning. Proficiency in concrete forming, finishing, and pumping techniques. Familiarity with hardscape installation, masonry, and flooring installation. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required. Knowledge of carpentry practices including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing. Experience with tile laying, roofing, stucco application, and restoration projects. Capability to read blueprints and understand construction schematics effectively. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly on-site. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet.
