Job Description

Concrete Project Manager - Commercial Restoration/RenovationWe are a trusted concrete construction parnter delivering high-quality structural and flatwork solutions for commercial, industrial, and public projects. We combine deep field expertise, reliable project management, and a safety first mindset to execute complex builds on time and to spec. We have an established presence in the DC market, winning multiple subcontractor of the year awards, and are building our team in South Florida!

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Concrete Project Manager to lead and deliver commercial and hospitality concrete projects, including restoration and renovation work for hotels, healthcare facilities, commercial buildings, and airports. The Concrete PM will oversee all phases of concrete work from preconstruction and estimating through execution, quality control, and closeout while maintaining schedules, budgets, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of concrete projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and on-site supervision from mobilization to closeout.

Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and trade partners to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans to meet critical milestones.

Prepare and review estimates, bids, change orders, cost reports, and forecasts; monitor project budgets and control costs.

Enforce safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance including OSHA and project-specific requirements; lead daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Oversee QA/QC programs for concrete materials and installation, including mix designs, placement, finishing, curing, testing, and documentation.

Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, maintaining clear communication with owners, architects, engineers, and facility managers throughout the project.

Collaborate with preconstruction and design teams to provide constructability input, value engineering, schedule input, and risk assessments.

Manage site logistics and phasing for occupied facilities such as hotels, hospitals, and airports to minimize disruptions and maintain infection control or security protocols as required.

Lead project closeout activities including punch lists, as-built documentation, warranties, and turnover to operations/staff.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred; or equivalent experience.5+ years of progressive project management experience focused on concrete work in commercial, hospitality, healthcare, or airport projects (restoration and renovation experience strongly preferred).Proven track record managing multiple concurrent projects, meeting schedule and budget targets, and delivering high-quality concrete construction.

Working knowledge of concrete materials, mix design, formwork, reinforcement, placement techniques, finishing, curing, and concrete testing standards.

Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Primavera, or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Strong understanding of construction contracts, change order processes, cost controls, and project documentation.

OSHA 30-hour certification preferred; ACI certifications (Concrete Field Testing Technician, ACI Certified Concrete Construction Special Inspector, or similar) a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites as required; ability to work in active construction environments and meet physical job demands.
