Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Concrete Quality Control Technician to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of concrete quality on construction sites through meticulous testing, inspection, and data collection. Your expertise will help maintain project integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Duties Conduct laboratory tests on concrete samples to verify mix consistency, strength, and durability according to project specifications. Perform on-site inspections of concrete forms, placements, and curing processes to ensure adherence to quality standards. Collect and analyze data related to concrete properties, documenting test results accurately for reporting purposes. Monitor construction activities involving concrete forming and masonry work, providing quality control feedback throughout the process. Inspect materials received at the site for compliance with contracts and project requirements. Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to resolve quality issues promptly and efficiently. Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken to support project documentation and compliance audits. Qualifications Laboratory experience with concrete testing procedures is highly preferred. Construction site experience, particularly in concrete forming or masonry work, is essential. Strong understanding of quality control processes within the construction industry. Excellent data collection and analysis skills to interpret test results accurately. Knowledge of construction inspection standards and safety protocols on active sites. Familiarity with contracts related to construction materials and quality requirements.
