The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and a deep understanding of concrete installation processes. As an Area Concrete Supervisor, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, review blueprints and schematics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from planning through completion, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations on concrete construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align schedules, resources, and workflows for timely project delivery. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and facilitate proper execution of concrete work. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations; utilize tools like ohmmeters for testing electrical components when applicable. Manage site safety programs in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and enforce safety procedures consistently. Oversee budgeting activities related to concrete operations; track costs and manage contracts to stay within financial parameters. Lead supervising teams by providing clear direction, training on construction site practices, and performance feedback. Skills Extensive experience in construction site supervision with a focus on concrete projects. Proven ability in project scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety management. Skilled in managing contracts, procurement processes, and subcontractor coordination. Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively while fostering collaboration. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; experience with electrical testing tools like ohmmeters is a plus. Knowledge of heavy infrastructure projects such as pipelines or large-scale concrete structures is desirable.
