Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations on construction sites, supervise crews, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver high-quality concrete work on time and within budget. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving project success, maintaining excellent client relationships, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in construction management and concrete techniques while motivating teams to achieve outstanding results. Duties Lead and supervise concrete crews, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship across all phases of construction projects. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to develop detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software. Oversee the preparation of site layouts, formwork, reinforcement placement, and pouring processes in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Monitor safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and conducting regular safety meetings; utilize tools like the Ohmmeter to ensure electrical safety where applicable. Manage project budgets by tracking costs related to materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractors; utilize HeavyBid or similar estimating tools for accurate forecasting. Conduct quality control inspections to verify that concrete work meets specifications; review plans and schematics thoroughly before execution. Supervise subcontractors and vendors; review contracts and ensure all work aligns with project scope and contractual obligations. Maintain detailed documentation of daily activities, safety incidents, material deliveries, and progress reports using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam. Experience Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a supervisory role within heavy civil or commercial construction projects. Extensive knowledge of concrete placement techniques, formwork systems, reinforcement methods, and curing processes. Strong familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately; experience with construction estimating is a plus. Supervising experience on large-scale projects involving pipeline or infrastructure work is highly desirable. Solid understanding of OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to heavy civil construction sites; ability to enforce safety standards consistently. Skilled in managing project schedules, budgets, quality control measures, and team supervision while maintaining a focus on efficiency and safety.
