Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting various concrete-related projects, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality results. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction processes will contribute to building durable structures, from foundations to decorative hardscapes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in concrete work while working on diverse projects that challenge and inspire you. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms, including framing and rebar installation, ensuring precise measurements and alignment based on blueprints and schematics. Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and screeds to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces. Support the mixing and pouring of concrete for various applications, including foundations and sidewalks. Perform finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, caulking, and sealing to achieve desired surface textures and quality standards. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols; assist with heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete-related tasks; familiarity with blueprint reading is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit to handle demanding tasks throughout the workday. Knowledge of rebar installation, form setting, concrete finishing techniques, and masonry practices such as stucco or tile laying is preferred. Skills in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, saws, as well as power tools like drills and mixers.
