The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing detailed estimates, and collaborating closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a strong background in construction estimating, site experience, and contract management, with proficiency in industry-standard software tools. The Concrete Estimator will play a vital role in project planning, cost control, and ensuring competitive pricing strategies across all projects. Duties Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for concrete projects using estimating software. Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to determine scope of work. Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to develop competitive bids and proposals. Manage pricing strategies by analyzing labor, materials, equipment costs, and market conditions. Negotiate contracts and change orders with clients and subcontractors to optimize project profitability. Monitor project budgets throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to cost control measures. Assist in bid presentations and support project management teams during project execution. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials pricing, and construction techniques relevant to concrete work. Qualifications Proven experience as a Construction Estimator with a focus on concrete projects. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes, cost control, and pricing strategies. Solid understanding of construction site operations and safety standards. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively. Experience in construction management and project management is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in estimating procedures. Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
