Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laborer Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing work on various construction projects, ensuring smooth, durable, and visually appealing surfaces. Responsibilities Prepare concrete surfaces by leveling, smoothing, and finishing freshly poured concrete using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently to facilitate the pouring process. Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to shape concrete structures accurately. Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise execution of tasks. Perform rebar installation, metal stud framing, and other masonry-related activities to support structural integrity. Conduct finishing tasks including caulking, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and trim carpentry as needed. Assist with renovation and restoration projects by applying concrete finishing techniques on existing structures. Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, and measuring devices to complete detailed work with precision. Follow safety protocols consistently while operating power tools and heavy equipment on construction sites. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or carpentry. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation (including heavy machinery), and construction techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing manual labor in various weather conditions. Knowledge of rebar installation, form building, concrete pumping, and finishing techniques. Experience with power tools including mixers, saws, drills, caulking guns, and other hand-held equipment. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs.
