Work Environment Modern office setting Wellness programs Growth and advancement opportunities Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager supports project management and field operations from preconstruction through closeout. This role is hands on and designed for someone who wants to grow into a Project Manager role. Responsibilities Solicit subcontractor quotes. Assist with schedule development and updates Monitor project budgets and cost reports Develop scopes of work Support Superintendents and subcontractors during active projects Negotiate and track subcontractor agreements Assist with monthly owner billings and project cost reporting Maintain communication with clients and architects Process subcontractor pay applications and verify supporting documentation Prepare and review submittals for compliance Ensure OSHA and safety requirements are followed Assist with project closeout documentation Support client relationships and repeat business Train toward becoming a self sufficient Project Manager Qualifications Ability to read and understand rebar drawings Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Adobe, On Screen Takeoffs, Procore or similar software Commercial concrete experience preferred Self starter who can work independently when needed Comfortable attending client and architect meetings Strong communication and relationship building skills Spanish is a plus Professional, honest, and dependable with a sense of humor
