$100K-120K + Company Truck We're working with a commercial concrete contractor that has experienced significant growth over the past few years and continues to win major projects throughout the Southeast. To support this growth, they're looking to hire an experienced Superintendent who can lead crews, drive schedules, and maintain high standards of safety and quality on site. This role will oversee commercial concrete projects across Georgia and the South East. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial concrete construction and a proven ability to manage field operations from start to finish.Responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day field operations on commercial concrete projects
- Lead and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards
- Work closely with Project Managers to maintain project schedules and production targets
- Conduct daily planning meetings and communicate project expectations with site teams
- Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and company standards
- Enforce safety policies and maintain a strong safety culture across all jobsites
- Coordinate inspections and resolve field-related issues as they arise
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent within commercial concrete construction
- Strong experience with foundations, slabs, structural concrete, cast-in-place, and/or tilt-wall projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proven leadership experience managing field personnel and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling and sequencing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- OSHA knowledge and commitment to maintaining safe jobsites
- Willingness to travel throughout Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama as required
