Job Description

Position Overview:
As a Framer or Concrete Foundation Worker, you will be a vital part of our construction team, responsible for the foundational and structural aspects of our building projects. We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Framers:
Structural Framing:
Construct the skeletal structure of residential and commercial buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
Blueprint Interpretation:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and materials required.
Cutting and Shaping Materials:
Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, or other materials using hand and power tools.
Installation:
Install windows, doors, staircases, and other structural components as needed.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all work meets safety and building code standards, and conduct inspections of completed work.
Concrete Foundation Workers:
Foundation Preparation:
Prepare the site for foundation work, including leveling, grading, and setting forms.
Concrete Pouring:
Mix, pour, and spread concrete to create foundations, footings, slabs, and other structural components.
Formwork:
Construct and dismantle formwork (molds) used to shape concrete before it sets.
Reinforcement Installation:
Place and secure rebar or other reinforcing materials in concrete forms to add strength to the foundation.
Finishing:
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.
Quality Control:
Monitor the curing process to ensure concrete sets correctly and meets all structural and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in framing, concrete work, or general construction is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is available for the right candidates.
Physical Fitness:
Must be able to lift heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions. Attention to

Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.

Job Types:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
