Concrete Foreman

We are a Small Family Own Non-Union Concrete installation firm on the Northshore, Chicagoland area of Illinios seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman with 12+ year solid background in the field. As a point of reference and key component in the completion of projects you must be well organized, possess good leadership qualities and safety skills.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to: Coordinating tasks according to priorities and plans Allocating general and daily responsibilities Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Supervise and train workers and trades people Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Installation and work with workers to install concrete Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to

Manager Requirements:

Proven working experience as Concrete Foreman In-depth knowledge of concrete procedures Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Aptitude in math Problem solving abilities Equipment operator Forming with Symon forms Concrete Finisher (flatwork, stairs, hard troweling and handling trawling machines) Installation of flatwork (Frameing of concrete stairs, Stoops, driveways, grading, pouring of concrete, finishing and stamped concrete) Setup, Layout for room additions and new home foundations Be able to use Lasers, or transit to determine elevation and grades Figure & order concrete Valid Drivers License is a Must You will be supplied with your on Vehicle and tools to transport equipment and tools to different job sites on a daily basis Ability to pull trailers with equipment In winter months be able to drive plow truck on 24 hour call when concrete work is not availible Must show documentation. paperwork to work in the United States Speaking Spanish is a plus
