Job Description

Job Summary The Concrete Laborer/Finisher supports concrete crews on construction sites, including mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete, setting up formwork, and assisting skilled tradespeople. This role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
ALL EMPLOYEE'S MEET AT OUR SHOP IN GRABILL, IN TO START THE WORK DAY. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION.
Duties and Responsibilities Mix, pour, and spread concrete using tools such as shovels, trowels, and power mixers. Set up, align, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures. Install rebar, wire mesh, or other reinforcements in concrete forms. Smooth and finish concrete surfaces to meet project specifications. Clean and prepare construction sites, removing debris and hazards. Operate and maintain basic construction tools and equipment. Assist skilled tradespeople, such as masons or carpenters, as needed. Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications No formal education required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Reliable transportation and driver's license
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK
Prior experience in construction or concrete work preferred Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred. Willingness to learn on-the-job and adapt to project needs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required. Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and site protocols. Hours may vary 6am
  • 6pm Monday
  • Friday, occasional Saturdays may be requested $17
  • $20 to start, depending on experience.
