• Position Overview We are seeking experienced Site Concrete Finishers who can execute high-quality work across paving, curb & gutter, and sidewalks in a fast-paced commercial environment. This role is for finishers who understand grade, can move efficiently with a crew, and consistently deliver clean, accurate work—not entry-level labor.
• Key Responsibilities Perform all aspects of site concrete finishing including: o Curb & gutter shaping and finishing o Sidewalk forming, pouring, and hand finishing o Light paving and flatwork finishing Set and maintain grade and alignment Finish by hand with tools (mag, steel trowel, broom finish, edging, jointing) Work around forms, string lines, and elevations Maintain clean, consistent joints and edges Assist with form setting, prep, and cleanup as needed Work with crew to maintain production pace and hit daily targets Follow all safety protocols•Qualifications (Must Have) Proven experience in site concrete (curb & gutter, sidewalks, paving) Ability to set and hold grade using string lines or site controls Strong understanding of concrete timing and finishing techniques Ability to produce clean, consistent finishes and joints Reliable transportation and strong attendance Ability to work long hours, including early starts Team-oriented with a strong work ethic•Preferred Qualifications Experience with slipform or machine curb operations Ability to read plans and understand elevations and layout Experience working on commercial site development projects Ability to lead a small crew or work toward a lead role•What We Offer Competitive pay for skilled finishers Production-based incentives for high performers Consistent commercial work pipeline Strong team culture focused on performance and accountability Advancement opportunities into lead finisher or foreman roles•Why Join Harbinger We don't run average site crews.
