Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with the finishing, shaping, and smoothing of concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results on a variety of projects. Your energy and commitment will contribute to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in concrete finishing and construction site operations while working in a fast-paced environment that values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship. Responsibilities Assist with pouring, spreading, and leveling concrete using hand tools and power tools such as mixers, trowels, and screeds. Prepare work areas by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper surface preparation. Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, troweling, and applying textures or patterns as specified in blueprints or schematics. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications for concrete placement and finishing details. Support rebar installation, form setting, and other masonry or carpentry tasks related to concrete work. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently throughout the workday. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and basic maintenance. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes. Experience with rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, or masonry is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors or project managers.
