The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and be able to execute various tasks related to the finishing of concrete surfaces. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Concrete Finisher will play a crucial role in ensuring that all concrete installations meet quality standards and project specifications. Duties Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, including excavation and grading. Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications. Finish surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to achieve desired textures and finishes. Install concrete forms and reinforcements as needed for various projects. Perform hardscape installations such as patios, walkways, and driveways. Lay tiles as part of renovation projects or decorative finishes. Weld components when required for structural integrity. Restore and renovate existing concrete surfaces to improve aesthetics or functionality. Adhere to safety protocols while working on construction sites, including proper lifting techniques for heavy materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Experience Proven experience in concrete finishing or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and installation processes is essential. Experience in heavy lifting and physical labor is required due to the nature of the work. Knowledge of commercial driving may be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment as needed. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site environments.
