This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to concrete work, including forming, finishing, and installation on commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete and related construction activities, demonstrating strong knowledge of tools, safety procedures, and construction techniques. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set in a dynamic environment. Duties Prepare and set forms for pouring concrete, ensuring proper alignment and stability using blueprint reading and schematics. Install rebar and metal studs for reinforced concrete structures, ensuring compliance with specifications. Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smoothness, texture, and specified patterns. Assist with demolition, renovation, or restoration projects involving concrete or masonry components. Use carpentry skills for framing, trim carpentry, or roofing tasks related to concrete structures. Handle heavy lifting safely during material transport or placement activities. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and debris removal on-site. Follow safety protocols including heavy equipment operation, scaffolding setup, and site hazard awareness. Experience Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on concrete-related tasks such as formwork, finishing, or pouring. Familiarity with schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and technical drawings. Hands-on knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming, Concrete Finishing Experience operating power tools such as mixers, saws, grinders, and other relevant equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety standards. Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and site protocols.
