At DN, meeting the challenge of clients takes both new construction and maximizing the life of existing water-retaining structures
  • through service life extension and repurposing.
We use our concrete tank service (CTS) expertise to support our clients in extending the useful life of their tanks by rehabilitating, repairing or repurposing existing structures economically. As a CTS Traveling Superintendent you will be a key leader in the field, responsible for performing and supervising the completion of all the work required throughout each of the phases of the tank rehabilitation and retrofit process. You'll be responsible for on-site construction, including safety, quality, scheduling, workforce management, subcontractor coordination, and customer relationships. From planning and layout to execution and closeout, you'll oversee all aspects of CTS projects in alignment with contract drawings and DN's high standards. Responsibilities Lead and direct all on-site construction activities, including supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and productivity. Interpret contract drawings to guide field execution and oversee critical construction activities, including concrete placement and testing. Champion DN's Accident Prevention and Safety Program (APSP), conducting weekly safety inspections and enforcing all policies. Mentor and develop field employees and Assistant Superintendents through hands-on training and DN resources. Own the quality assurance process, from inspections to punch list completion, ensuring tanks meet DN's high standards. Manage project schedules, resources, and documentation using Spectrum ERP and Field View platforms. Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, engineers, inspectors, and vendors, representing DN Tanks with integrity on-site. Assist in Project closeout meetings, ensuring documentation review, final approvals, and seamless project handover to clients. Support the project team to thoroughly execute detailed pre-job planning. Qualifications Comprehensive experience in construction with an emphasis on concrete restoration, coating applications and structural modifications on concrete structures. 6+ years of relevant construction experience with proven leadership in field operations. Experience with line & grade, formwork systems, and large-scale concrete projects. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, crane operations, and rigging requirements. Proficient with construction technology including iPads, laptops, scheduling software, and ERP systems. Willingness to travel extensively and manage remote project sites across the U.S. Strong communication, time management, and conflict-resolution skills. Hold or ability to obtain industry standard certifications related to coating quality control such as
AMPP CCI
Level 1 and
AMPP QCS. DN
