Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate crews, manage project timelines, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong construction management skills, hands-on experience in concrete work, and the ability to motivate teams to deliver exceptional results efficiently and safely. As a Concrete Foreman, you will play a vital role in driving project success while fostering a collaborative and safety-conscious work environment. Bilingual Spanish and English a plus. Duties Supervise and coordinate all aspects of concrete construction activities on-site, including pouring, finishing, and curing processes Lead and manage concrete crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work Monitor project schedules using construction management software. Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards and conduct regular safety meetings with team members Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure adherence to engineering standards and schematics Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to review contracts, budgets, and project scope changes Utilize construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication Manage on-site materials logistics, including pipeline components and other heavy equipment needs Oversee budgeting activities related to labor, materials, and equipment usage while maintaining cost controls Experience Proven supervisory experience in concrete or heavy civil construction projects with a strong background in construction management Extensive hands-on construction site experience with concrete pouring, finishing techniques, and quality assurance practice Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety enforcement Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Strong understanding of contracts management, project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Skilled in using construction management software including ProCore, for project tracking Supervising teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality control Ability to operate technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing on site Join us as a Concrete Foreman where your leadership fuels successful projects!
