Experienced Concrete Finisher Laborer

Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of concrete forms and rebar installation to ensure structural integrity. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces. Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and texturing to achieve desired surface quality. Support the setup and dismantling of formwork for various concrete structures including slabs, walls, and curbs. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks according to project specifications. Collaborate with team members on site to ensure efficient workflow during renovation, restoration, or new construction projects. Maintain safety standards by adhering to protocols involving heavy lifting, scaffolding, roofing materials, and other construction activities. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing or related trades preferred. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and basic heavy equipment safely. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with schematics for equipment operation is advantageous. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks. Knowledge of rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, tile laying or flooring installation is a plus. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and construction estimating processes. Valid driver's license with commercial driving or heavy equipment operation certification is beneficial.
