Concrete/Asphalt Laborer

We are a full-service asphalt, concrete and site work company located in Detroit, MI (just outside of Grosse Pointe). We report to the Detroit office at the beginning and end of the day. Jobs are located in the Grosse Pointes, St. Clair Shores, Clinton Twp., Taylor, etc. (transportation provided to the job and back to the office each day). Seeking candidates for a Concrete/Asphalt Laborer on our construction crew. Must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. Starting at $20-$25/hr., depending on experience.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license Ability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays when needed Ability to adapt and work in all weather conditions Must have physical strength (able to lift 90 lbs) and endurance to work long hours Maintain safety and productivity at all job sites Construction/concrete/asphalt experience preferred Positive attitude and self-motivated Work in a team environment and perform general labor to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met

Responsibilities:

Pour concrete, work with steel forms, set grades, mix mortar, place asphalt, install drainage pipe, etc. Operate concrete drills, plate compactors, backpack blowers, etc. Properly get all safety signs, barrels, cones, etc. in place Learn and follow safety regulations To ensure a future for the company, we work closely with one another, and love to train and promote within.
