In this role, you will assist with the preparation, finishing, and finishing touches of concrete projects, ensuring high-quality results on a variety of commercial and residential sites. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help us deliver durable, aesthetically pleasing concrete surfaces that meet project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to display your skills in concrete finishing and construction while contributing to impactful building projects. Duties Assist with the placement, leveling, and finishing of concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and mixers Support rebar installation and ensure proper placement according to blueprints and schematics Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site Prepare forms and molds for concrete pouring, including framing and steel reinforcement setup Perform tasks related to masonry, stucco, tile laying, and other related finishes as needed Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety standards to prevent injuries Set up and align concrete forms for sidewalks, driveways, slabs, and curbs Pour, level, and finish concrete surfaces using a variety of hand and power tools Smooth and texture surfaces, apply curing materials Follow project plans, site specifications, and safety protocols Clean and maintain tools and equipment Work efficiently as part of a team and take direction from supervisors Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete finishing techniques Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction machinery Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments Knowledge of rebar installation, form setting, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, welding, restoration work, metal stud framing, and other related trades is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is advantageous Effective communication skills with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks efficiently Join our team if you're eager to build your expertise in concrete finishing while contributing to high-quality construction projects.
