Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in concrete finishing. This role involves working on-site to complete concrete projects efficiently and to high standards, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and industrial structures. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in construction techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation. Duties Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes. Set forms and install rebar according to blueprints and schematics for structural integrity. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Install various types of concrete forms and assist with form removal upon project completion. Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, floating, and caulking to produce high-quality surfaces. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety regulations on-site. Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation. Experience with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation. Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry work. Skilled in the use of hand tools such as trowels, floats, hammers, and chisels; familiarity with power tools including mixers and grinders. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including skids, dozers, or excavators is a plus but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during large-scale projects. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards.
