Aurora Asphalt & Concrete proudly serves the residential and light commercial needs of the Twin Cities metro area. Aurora Asphalt & Concrete is looking for experienced concrete finishers. Responsibilities Set and place forms to correct height and location, & install proper reinforcing Operates a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specification Smooth concrete surface using either a hand trowel or long-handled "bull float" Cut joints & grooves in concrete with edging tools to help control cracking Apply sealer to cure surfaces Monitor the wind, heat and cold and make necessary adjustments as it affects the curing of concrete Clean job site and tools

Preferred:

experience with decorative, stamped, and colored concrete Requirements 4+ years experience finishing concrete Be able to pass a criminal record check Ability to pass a drug screen Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card Must be on time and dependable Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Problem-solving skills
