Salary:
$100,000 - $150,000 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to lead residential and commercial concrete projects from mobilization through completion. This role is responsible for managing field crews, schedules, quality, and safety while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with overseeing multiple crews across a variety of job types ranging from garage floors and patios to larger commercial and aquatic environments. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, craftsmanship quality, and overall customer satisfaction. Our client is a growing specialty contractor focused on high-performance concrete coatings, resurfacing systems, and decorative concrete solutions. The company serves both residential and commercial markets, delivering durable, aesthetically driven results designed to withstand demanding climates and high-traffic use. Key Responsibilities Manage concrete and coatings projects from start to finish across multiple job sites Supervise and coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and daily jobsite operations Oversee installation of epoxy, polyurea, and other coating systems Manage concrete resurfacing, overlays, polishing, and decorative finishing work Coordinate scheduling, manpower planning, and equipment allocation Ensure projects meet quality standards, specifications, and client expectations Read and interpret plans, work orders, and project specifications Adapt to changing jobsite conditions and project requirements Enforce OSHA compliance, safety standards, and company safety protocols Track production, labor efficiency, and material usage Qualifications 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, coatings, or decorative concrete Prior experience in a superintendent, foreman, or field leadership role Strong knowledge of surface prep methods including grinding, shot blasting, and cleaning Experience with epoxy, polyurea, polishing, or overlay systems Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of jobsite safety and OSHA compliance Preferred Background in both residential and commercial concrete projects Familiarity with coatings for garages, pool decks, patios, and interior floors Experience working in climate-sensitive environments or seasonal scheduling Candidates that complete skills assessments and screening questions will receive priority consideration in the hiring process.
