Concrete Laborer Job Description We are seeking experienced Concrete Laborers to support site and utility-related concrete work. This is a direct hire, union opportunity offering long-term, steady work. Projects are primarily located within Franklin County, with occasional travel within a 100-mile radius depending on project needs. Responsibilities Assist with concrete placement, finishing prep, and cleanup. Set and strip forms for flatwork and site concrete. Grade and prep sites for concrete placement. Support pours for sidewalks, curbs, pads, and utility-related concrete work. Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, vibrators, and screeds. Assist finishers with pour timing, flow, and consistency. Maintain job site cleanliness and follow all safety standards. Essential Skills 2+ years of experience in concrete or civil construction. Experience with form setting, pouring, and finishing support. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily. Experience with flatwork or site concrete (not just residential). Ability to read basic plans or layout markings. Experience working around heavy equipment and crews. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA certification (preferred). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $60.00/hr.
