In this role, you will be instrumental in creating precise digital models and detailed schematics for tilt-up concrete panels, ensuring seamless communication between design, engineering, and construction teams. Your expertise will help streamline project workflows, improve accuracy, and enhance overall project efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and concrete detailing within a collaborative environment focused on excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models and schematics of tilt-up concrete panels using advanced BIM software tools. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to interpret design intent and translate it into accurate digital representations. Utilize software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to create comprehensive system designs and detailed drawings. Prepare clear and precise schematics for fabrication and erection processes, ensuring all specifications meet project standards. Incorporate construction sequencing, material specifications, and structural details into digital models for efficient project execution. Use Bluebeam for markup review, document management, and collaboration with team members. Assist in integrating graphic design elements and interior/mechanical design considerations into the BIM models as needed. Support the development of 2D animations or visualizations to communicate complex design concepts effectively. Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation in accordance with company standards. Experience Proven experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drafting and BIM software platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks. Familiarity with schematic development, construction detailing, system design, graphic design principles, interior design concepts, mechanical design processes, or related fields is highly desirable. Prior experience working on tilt-up concrete projects or similar large-scale construction projects is preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of construction workflows and the ability to interpret architectural or structural drawings accurately. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools like SketchUp or Bluebeam for project-specific tasks.
