They have an urgent and high volume need in Charlotte for Field Engineers with vertical, high-rise concrete experience. This is their number one priority in the region right now and we are looking to have conversations this week. If you have a self perform concrete background and you have worked on vertical structures of 10 stories and above, we want to talk to you straight away. About the Company One of the largest commercial concrete contractors in the US Over $1.7 billion in annual revenue 100 million square feet of concrete placed every year 500+ active projects nationwide at any given time 25+ locations across the country Recognized as a US Best Managed Company for five consecutive years Town based model — strong local teams built around career development The Role As a Field Engineer you will support the superintendent team in delivering large scale vertical concrete on high-rise commercial and industrial projects. You will be close to the work — running layout, keeping the field supplied with information, and helping the crew hit safety, quality, and production goals every day. Key Responsibilities Support superintendents in planning and executing vertical self perform concrete on high-rise projects Run layout and verify field dimensions against drawings Manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing revisions and get answers back to the field quickly Assist with pre-pour walkthroughs, inspections, and quality control Track quantities, delivery tickets, and daily production Coordinate materials, equipment, and access so the crew is ready to place Communicate project status clearly to the field and project team Support OSHA safety standards on site at all times Requirements Concrete construction or self perform concrete background Vertical / high-rise experience — you have worked on structures of 10 stories or more Knowledge of structural concrete, forming systems, reinforcing, and sequencing Degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent field experience Procore experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, Outlook OSHA 30 preferred Based in Charlotte, NC Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future What's On Offer Competitive base salary $75,000
