Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into solid, durable structures! In this energetic role, you'll assist in the finishing and detailing of concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality results on commercial and residential projects. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help us deliver exceptional craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Duties Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to prepare and finish concrete surfaces Install rebar reinforcement and formwork to support concrete structures during pouring and curing processes Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution Perform masonry tasks such as stucco, plastering, or tile laying as needed for various projects Support in the installation of curbs, sidewalks, driveways, and other hardscape features with precision Conduct cleanup of work sites, including heavy lifting of materials and debris removal to maintain safety standards Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating tools, mixers, pumps, and heavy equipment efficiently Construction estimating skills to understand project scope and material needs Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and finishing techniques Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate implementation Knowledge of various construction trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, masonry, metal stud framing, restoration or renovation work Ability to operate power tools including saws, drills, caulking guns, and specialized concrete finishing equipment Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites involving heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving when applicable This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction while contributing to impactful projects.
