Concrete & Asphalt Crew Member

Overview We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt & Concrete Laborer to join our growing team. This role involves hands-on work in asphalt paving and concrete installation, supporting a variety of projects and repairs. Experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals who are ready to learn and work hard. Duties Assist in the preparation and layout of asphalt paving Spread, level, and smooth asphalt Operate and drive asphalt paving equipment including pavers, rollers, and skid steers Use hand tools and power tools to assist with surface preparation and finishing Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance. Form and prep surfaces for concrete pour Smooth out, level and finish freshly poured concrete at job Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Perform minor equipment maintenance and report any issues Work Environment Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions Work environment periodically exposes the employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust that is typically associated with a construction project Employee regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery Exposure to materials such as form oil, grease, curing compounds, gasoline, diesel fuel, and asphalt We promote a Drug-Free Workplace Worker Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be eligible to work in the United States Ability to work overtime and maintain a flexible schedule Prior experience is a plus, but not required (training provided) CDL license is a plus, but not required Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) after 6 months of employment Simple IRA with employer match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Annual bonus opportunities

Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
