Job Overview
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL OUT OF TOWN FOR AT LEAST 2 WEEKS AT A TIME.
We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various concrete-related tasks on commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and familiarity with construction processes. Prior experience in concrete work or related trades is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in a dynamic construction environment while contributing to high-quality building projects. Responsibilities Assist with concrete pouring and finishing to ensure smooth and durable surfaces Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures using hand tools and power tools Install rebar and other reinforcement materials according to project specifications Operate heavy equipment such as concrete pumps and mixers safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately Perform heavy lifting of materials, tools, and equipment necessary for concrete work Maintain a clean and safe work site by adhering to safety protocols and procedures Skills Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and pumping techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery used in concrete work Knowledge of rebar installation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety standards and protocols Skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams for complex projects This position requires physical stamina for long hours of manual labor in various weather conditions. Candidates should be committed to safety practices while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Prior experience in commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is beneficial but not mandatory.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
