We are a family-owned commercial concrete company with a strong reputation, a proven track record of growth, and a heavy backlog of awarded work. We are not looking to simply fill a temporary seat. This is a great opportunity for someone who understands construction, can read plans, knows how to put together accurate takeoffs and estimates, and wants to be part of a respected company where ownership is involved every day and good work gets noticed. About the Position This is primarily an in-office position with occasional local jobsite visits, pre-bid meetings, and project meetings as needed. You will work closely with estimating, field leadership, general contractors, suppliers, owners, and crews to help take projects from bid to completion. The right person for this position will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling multiple jobs, and able to communicate well with both office and field personnel. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, solves problems, and does not need to be micromanaged. Responsibilities

• Reading and understanding plans, specifications, and project documents
• Performing accurate quantity takeoffs
• Preparing estimates, bids, and proposals
• Reviewing scopes of work and identifying potential issues before bid day
• Communicating with general contractors, owners, suppliers, vendors, and crews
• Managing awarded projects from start to finish
• Coordinating with field leadership on schedules, manpower, materials, and project needs
• Handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Attending pre-bid meetings, project meetings, and occasional jobsite visits
• Tracking project details and helping ensure jobs are completed correctly and profitably What We Are Looking For This is not an entry-level position.

Construction estimating experience is required, and commercial concrete experience is strongly preferred.

A strong candidate will have:

• Construction estimating experience
• Strong plan reading and takeoff skills
• Experience with commercial construction projects
• Concrete estimating or project management experience preferred
• Experience with PlanSwift and Procore
• Good communication skills with GCs, supers, suppliers, and internal team members
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem-solving ability
• A self-starter mentality
