Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Concrete & Hardscape Installer to bring high-end residential and commercial outdoor and indoor spaces to life. This is a hands-on craftsmanship role for a builder who takes pride in the details. From executing the perfect power trowel finish on a new slab to laying down a flawless metallic epoxy floor, you will be on the ground turning raw materials into premium architectural finishes. Key Responsibilities 1. Hardscaping & Drainage Construction Install interlocking pavers, natural stone, and structural retaining walls to exact industry standards. Implement site drainage solutions to ensure the long-term structural integrity of the installation. Build high-quality outdoor living features, including fire pits, seating walls, and kitchens. 2. Concrete Flatwork & Forming Set precision forming and assist in pouring slabs with a strict focus on proper reinforcement, pitch, and grade. Execute joint cutting and finishing techniques, including skilled power trowel operation. 3. Decorative Finishes & Artistry Apply microtoppings and self-leveling overlays to create seamless, modern surfaces. Execute high-level staining (acid, acetone, or water-based) and decorative stamping techniques. Install high-performance Epoxy & Polyaspartic systems , including intricate metallic finishes and chip/quartz broadcasts. 4. Technical Prep & Protection Perform critical substrate preparation using grinders and shot-blasters. Conduct and record moisture vapor emission tests (calcium chloride or relative humidity) prior to resinous coatings. Apply appropriate protective coatings, including acrylics, penetrating silanes, and high-wear polyurethane topcoats. 5. Restoration & Maintenance Repair and restore existing concrete, addressing issues like delamination, spalling, and cracking. Relevel sunken or shifted paver systems and apply professional-grade resealers.
Technical Qualifications Experience:
Proven hands-on experience in decorative concrete, epoxy floor coatings, and advanced hardscaping.
Material Knowledge:
Strong understanding of mix designs, cure times, and the chemical application of stains, epoxies, and sealers.
Equipment Mastery:
Proficient and safe operation of power trowels, walk-behind floor grinders, laser levels, and masonry saws. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to read site plans and execute precise measurements and cuts. Physical Requirements Ability to consistently lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working outdoors in varying seasonal weather conditions. Stamina and manual dexterity required for sustained periods of fine-detail decorative work.
