Job Description
The South Jersey Group LLC is seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our field operations team. We perform sitework, concrete construction, asphalt paving, utility installation, grading, and infrastructure projects throughout Delaware, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. This position offers year-round work, overtime opportunities, and the chance to build a long-term career with a growing heavy civil contractor. Job Type Full-Time Monday through Friday Overtime available Travel Requirements Candidates must be willing to travel our shop in Pennsville, NJ daily to start and end day. Project sites located throughout Delaware, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Projects may be located up to 50 miles from our shop in Pennsville, New Jersey. Responsibilities Assist with asphalt paving operations Assist with concrete placement and finishing Perform site cleanup and general labor duties Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials Assist equipment operators and foremen as needed Follow company safety procedures and project requirements Work effectively as part of a construction crew Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver's License Experience in asphalt paving and/or concrete construction preferred Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work Ability to work long hours in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications
