Commercial Concrete Foreman Western Concrete - 2.2 Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Plans, assigns, schedules, and supervises the work of form setters, carpenters, concrete finishers, laborers, truck drivers, saw cutters and equipment operators. Checks with the General Manager DAILY, to coordinate the daily, weekly schedule. Makes sure employees/crew have the proper tools, equipment and material needed/required to complete the days tasks. Among a Foreman's responsibilities are overseeing safety procedures, quality of workmanship, costs, and the morale and attitude of a crew. Minimize cost by minimizing man hours, maximizing the amount of work that is completed for each day, week, and/or mobilization. Communicate any breakdowns, or performance problems of trucks tools and equipment to shop, shop foreman, and office Maintain job site - makes sure that all tools, equipment and materials are picked up. makes sure that all materials that are not installed, are secured neatly, in one area of project/jobsite. Must possess a valid state driver's license or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment; and may be required to obtain CDL certification. Construction/Crew Foreman MUST be able to adapt to the changing schedule, short notice, fly by the seat of your pants, fast paced, life on the razors edge conditions, and ????????, Inherent to the Concrete Construction industry.
