Job Description
Ready Mix Concrete Quality Control/ Supervisor to oversee daily batch plant operations, ensuring safe, high-quality concrete production and timely delivery. Key responsibilities include managing batch plant staff, maintaining quality control, and optimizing delivery schedules to meet customer demands while adhering to safety standards. Supervise plant personnel and truck drivers, including training, scheduling, and performance management. Coordinate with QC to ensure mix designs meet specifications and maintain high quality control standards. Understanding of concrete mix designs, admixtures, and raw materials a plus but will train. Need to have strong communication skills to liaise with drivers, customers, and management. Barney & Dickenson, Inc has been a local supplier of Ready Mix Concrete and Sand & Gravel for over 90 years. Our fleet includes Ready Mix trucks, concrete pumps, concrete truck conveyors, stone spreader, tractor-trailer dumps, and tri-axle dumps. We are looking for a mechanic for the long term to ensure the quality maintenance of our large fleet of equipment.
