Job Description
Concrete Worker A reputable construction company in Akron is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team. As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials
- Operate and maintain various tools such as trowels, screeds, and power saws
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and removing any debris or obstructions
- Mix concrete according to specifications
- Pour concrete into designated areas and use leveling equipment to ensure smoothness
- Finish surfaces by smoothing, edging, or coloring
- Follow safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Concrete Worker
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of different types of concrete mixtures
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
