Job Description
Concrete Worker As a Concrete Worker, you will be responsible for the construction, installation, and repair of concrete structures in Akron. Your duties will include preparing and cleaning the worksite, mixing and pouring concrete, smoothing and finishing surfaces, and using various tools and equipment. You must have previous experience working with concrete and possess physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time. This is a full-time position that pays $1700 per month.
Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Previous experience working with concrete is required
- Ability to read blueprints, calculate measurements, and follow instructions
- Knowledge of different types of concrete, tools, and equipment used in construction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to use hand tools efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating measurements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have own transportation to travel to various worksites in
Akron Preferred:
- Certification or training in concrete work
- Previous experience working on construction sites or with other tradespeople
