Job Summary Our client is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Precast Concrete Estimator to support the success of their projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating closely with clients, suppliers, and project teams. Your expertise will help ensure competitive pricing, effective cost control, and successful project execution from inception to completion. Responsibilities Accurately perform quantity take-offs, prepare estimates, and submit bid documentation in a timely manner. Review project drawings, specifications, and bid documents using industry-standard estimating software. Analyze concrete structures and produce comprehensive quantity take-offs. Apply production rates, material costs, labor costs, and equipment costs to develop complete estimates. Communicate effectively with Production Management. Develop new and maintain existing relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and general contractors. Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings and monitor projects through completion. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to fully understand project scope and requirements. Prepare competitive pricing proposals by evaluating material costs, labor estimates, subcontractor quotes, and other direct expenses. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable pricing while maintaining quality standards. Monitor project budgets throughout the bidding and construction process. Assist with contract review and management to ensure alignment with project goals and company policies. Support project management teams by providing detailed estimates to facilitate scheduling and resource planning. Requirements 3+ years of construction estimating experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD or 3D Modeling software is required. Strong understanding of construction site operations, materials procurement, and cost management principles. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing and maintain strong supplier relationships. Knowledge of construction contracts, project management practices, and cost control techniques.
Compensation Salary:
$78,000 - $95,000 per year
