Concrete Finisher Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the completion of concrete projects by assisting with finishing, forming, and preparing concrete surfaces. Duties Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and smoothing to achieve specified surface quality and texture. Support rebar installation, ensuring proper placement according to schematics and blueprints. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to prepare forms, mix concrete, and perform finishing tasks. Help set up and dismantle formwork, including framing, metal stud framing, and concrete forming systems. Conduct site clean-up and organize materials to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Follow blueprint reading and schematics to accurately execute concrete finishing and related tasks. Qualifications Prior construction site experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades preferred. Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment operation, and basic maintenance. Familiarity with construction estimating, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Knowledge of rebar installation, formwork setup, and concrete pumping processes is highly desirable. Experience with heavy equipment operation such as mixers or cranes is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; ability to work effectively with hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding. $25.83 - $31.10 per hour
