This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already has extensive hands-on concrete experience and can confidently use equipment and pour and finish without constant supervision. We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our company. In this role, you will be forming, pouring, and finishing flatwork and/or walls, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will ensure that concrete structures meet precise specifications and quality standards. You will have a foreman on site with you at times, along with labor, but this is not a supervisory role. Responsibilities Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience Ability to form, grade, pour, finish, and work projects from start to finish Ability to read plans and perform layout work is a plus, but not a requirement Experience operating skid steers, excavators, and related equipment is a plus Strong communication skills required Valid driver's license or CDL is a plus (Not required) Reliable transportation Requirements Proven experience as a concrete finisher with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety. Mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery used in concrete work. Inspect and organize equipment and ensure proper care of company assets. Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, and concrete pouring techniques. Ensure work meets Filbrun quality standards. Knowledge of related trades such as carpentry, roofing, plastering, restoration, and masonry enhances versatility. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
