Concrete Finisher GFRC Shop

Oltre Castings & Design is hiring a Concrete Finisher for our Salem, OR shop. You'll trim, sand, patch, color, and perform final detailing on Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) products after demolding to ensure each piece meets our quality, aesthetic, and structural specifications. Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Operate forklifts and cranes to move cast and finished products into assigned areas of the facility Trim, sand, patch, and detail products after casting using air-powered and electrical power tools Apply stains, pigments, and sealers Match textures and colors Inspect and repair surface defects Assist with demolding after casting Assist with the installation of finished products Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to meet project timelines Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed on-site Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and keep the work area clean

Requirements:

Experience in concrete finishing or similar work preferred Artistic eye and attention to detail Ability to use air-powered and electrical tools Reliable and consistent Strong at multitasking Self-motivated and responsible Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to operate a forklift Ability to lift 80+ lbs Physical /

Mental Demands and Working Conditions:

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch Physical ability sufficient to lift and maneuver heavy objects and equipment (80+ lbs) Must be able to differentiate colors (cannot be color blind)

Education and Experience:

1+ years of concrete finishing experience High school diploma or GED
