Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, ensuring that all projects meet the required specifications and standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of various construction projects. Duties Prepare and set up work areas by ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available. Operate concrete mixers and other equipment to mix and pour concrete according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Apply caulking, stucco, or other finishing materials as needed to achieve desired surface quality. Perform trim carpentry tasks as required to enhance the overall finish of concrete structures. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Conduct masonry work as needed, including laying bricks or blocks in conjunction with concrete finishing tasks. Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary to meet standards. Qualifications Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of concrete mixing techniques and finishing methods. Familiarity with construction estimating practices and ability to read blueprints effectively. Experience with trim carpentry, masonry, caulking, stucco application, and roofing is highly desirable. Ability to work in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards on construction sites. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
