Concrete Finisher

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and durability. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, from commercial buildings to residential developments, by applying your skills in concrete finishing, formwork, rebar installation, and related trades. Duties Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, level finishes. Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete pours, ensuring proper alignment and stability according to schematics and blueprints. Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures, following precise specifications. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute concrete placements accurately. Perform related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, masonry work, and tile laying as needed for renovation or restoration projects. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution while adhering to safety standards. Qualifications Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a solid understanding of construction site procedures. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of rebar installation, formwork setup, plastering, stucco application, flooring installation, and tile laying is highly desirable. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites. Strong safety awareness with adherence to OSHA standards and site-specific protocols. $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
