Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman to lead and oversee concrete construction projects from start to finish. This pivotal role involves managing on-site operations, supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality concrete work on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of concrete installation processes. Duties Supervise and coordinate all activities related to concrete pouring, finishing, and curing on construction sites Lead and manage a team of skilled laborers and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Monitor quality control standards, ensuring concrete work meets safety, structural, and aesthetic requirements Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or other construction management software Oversee site safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist with construction estimating using HeavyBid or similar tools Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Foreman with a focus on concrete projects or heavy civil construction 5 years experience finishing concrete, Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical schematics related to concrete work Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality assurance purposes Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety Supervising experience leading diverse teams in demanding environments Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently Join us in shaping resilient infrastructure through expert leadership in concrete construction!
