Job Description
Job Overview Join our construction team as a Concrete Finisher and Concrete Form Laborer, where you'll help turn project plans into durable, high-quality concrete structures. In this hands-on role, you'll support multiple phases of concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, and installation, to help keep projects on schedule and built to spec. This is a great opportunity to grow your construction skills while working alongside experienced professionals who value safety, craftsmanship, and teamwork. Duties Assist with preparing and setting concrete forms based on blueprints, layouts, and job specifications Help install rebar and other reinforcement materials for slabs, foundations, retaining walls, and related structures Mix, pour, place, and pump concrete while helping maintain proper flow and consistency Use hand tools and power tools to smooth, level, edge, and finish freshly poured concrete surfaces Support the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls Move materials, tools, and equipment safely around the job site, including tasks that require heavy lifting Follow safety procedures during equipment use, scaffold setup, cleanup, and general site operations Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to support accurate placement of forms, rebar, and other structural components Requirements Previous construction experience preferred, especially with concrete slabs, foundations, and retaining walls Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and general form work preferred Ability to safely perform physically demanding work, including regular heavy lifting Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and other construction equipment Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Strong understanding of construction site safety practices Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take direction Valid driver's license preferred; experience operating commercial vehicles or heavy equipment is a plus
