Concrete Finisher

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and smoothing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results on a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help bring construction visions to life with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in concrete finishing and related trades. Responsibilities Apply finishing techniques to poured concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness, levelness, and proper texture according to project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, and screeds to achieve desired finishes. Install rebar and formwork structures accurately based on blueprints and schematics to support concrete placement. Use concrete mixers and pumps effectively to pour concrete efficiently across various site locations. Read blueprints and schematics to interpret project requirements for concrete placement, finishing, and related tasks. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for site preparation, material handling, and finishing work. Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution during renovation or new construction. Qualifications Proven experience in concrete finishing or related construction roles with a solid understanding of construction site safety protocols. Mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation (e.g., skid steers or mixers), and concrete pumping systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in rebar installation, form setting, plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, welding, roofing basics, metal stud framing, and restoration processes is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope and resource needs. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
