Job Description
About the Role As a Mobile Concrete Batching Specialist, you will serve as the primary operator for on-site concrete production, ensuring that high-quality material is delivered and mixed to precise specifications. You will play a vital role in project success by managing the entire batching process, from material loading to final discharge, while maintaining peak equipment performance. Responsibilities Execute the on-site production of concrete by operating volumetric mixing equipment to meet specific project requirements. Manage the calibration of mixing systems to ensure consistent material quality, slump, and mix design accuracy. Oversee the loading of raw aggregates, cement, and admixtures to maintain optimal inventory levels for each pour. Conduct thorough site assessments to determine the safest and most efficient positioning for equipment setup. Perform rigorous pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and mixer reliability, addressing mechanical needs proactively. Maintain high standards of site cleanliness by managing chute wash-downs and equipment sanitation after every delivery. Provide exceptional on-site service by coordinating with contractors and documenting material usage and delivery details. Required Skills Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform physical tasks in a construction environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and material handling best practices. Effective communication skills to interact with job site personnel and management. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating volumetric concrete mixers or similar heavy construction machinery. In-depth knowledge of concrete mix designs and volumetric batching technology. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Familiarity with concrete installation and finishing techniques.
